Why You Will Want to Visit Steele Creek Park in Bristol, TN
Good morning. I’m Steve Willinger REALTOR with Highlands Realty. Today I’m in Bristol, Tennessee at Steele Creek Park. It is the third largest city park in the state of Tennessee with ~2,500 acres and ~25 miles of biking and hiking trails. There are numerous picnic shelters throughout the park that most of us around here use for family reunions, business outings, etc. There’s a huge lake with plenty of bass and other good fishing in there. You can rent a paddle boat or bring your own canoe/kayak to float around in the middle of the lake. And the Nature Center, which is behind me. This is where kids can go in and there’s hands on exhibits, so they can learn about the critters that grow up in this park. Also, the University of Tennessee and King University both use it for research. Other activities the park offers are a splash pad for kids, miniature replica of a steam engine train that kids (and kids at heart) can enjoy a short ride beside the lake, disc golf course, and a 9 hole golf course. So I want to invite you to come here. I happen to love Bristol, Tennessee. Live here, I don’t live but mostly across the street. Come and visit us; We want to see you!
