Our recent blog series is highlighting our knowledgeable team of real estate professionals. Our agents work hard and are dedicated to serving the real estate needs of Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee, so we wanted to take a few moments to introduce each of them. This week we are introducing Bear Lloyd.
Bear’s real estate journey began just before the COVID pandemic hit, which made his first year as a REALTOR a ride full of constant changes and adaptations. Facing all these challenges head-on, Bear has enjoyed assisting buyers and sellers in Southwest Virginia. Growing up on a farm instilled a love for the land and helped him decide to obtain his Virginia real estate license.
Residing on his family’s third-generation farm, Bear is an expert on the lay of the land and the local community. His local area knowledge is beneficial to both those moving to Southwest Virginia and those selling property in the region. Striving to be your hometown agent, Bear makes his clients a top priority with timely responses and working to help them reach their real estate goals. In addition to his community expertise and extensive real estate training, Bear teaches marketing at Abingdon High School. His local knowledge combined with effective marketing tactics benefits sellers by increasing the opportunity of finding the ideal property for their property. While as a Southwest Virginia native, Bear is like a guide to buyers searching for a home in the area.
Bear spends most of his free time on the farm, from tending to cattle and sheep to growing produce and hay. He truly enjoys his time working on the farm as it is rewarding and has instilled a good work ethic. Bear also strives to be a leader in the agricultural industry, advocating for Virginia farmers.
