Lori Foster
Opening the Door to Your Future!
Born and raised in Saltville, a small town in Southwest Virginia, I have always loved living in this area. After attending high school, I moved to Marion, Virginia where I worked and resided for ten years. Afterward, I moved to Abingdon, where I currently live.
I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from Emory & Henry College in 1994, and later a MBA from King College. Since I always wanted to be in business for myself, and with experience in business management, marketing, finance, and contract negotiations, I decided to put my knowledge into the real estate business. It was a great decision! My first year in the business, I was awarded the title of "Rookie of the Year" for selling more real estate than any other first year agent within the Southwest Virginia Association of Realtors.
In 2010, I became a REALTOR® with Highlands Realty, Inc. "I love working for Highlands Realty. We're a close group who work well together. When you hire one of our agents, you're hiring a team of professionals that do their best to sell your property. It's our goal to ensure that you receive the highest price possible for your home and/or land."
As an individual REALTOR®, I have provided real estate services for many individuals and families. I love working with sellers as well as experienced buyers and first time home buyers. "Working with individuals and families is always a pleasure. It's fun to show them properties and get to know them as people, not just clients. I enjoy sharing information about market conditions and the buying/selling process, as well as providing them with real estate services after the sale."
My Client-First Philosophy...
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional such as integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as an Abingdon real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently, which allows me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
I like helping other people and it gives me satisfaction to know that I help others make their dreams come true! If you're in the market for a new home or have a home to sell, please give me a call, or send me a text or email. I look forward to hearing from you!
