Helping plant roots where you want to grow.
As a born and raised resident of Southwest Virginia, I have a deep connection to the natural landscape and community that this beautiful place has to offer. At a young age, my love for this area manifested itself by my involvement in outdoor recreation from hiking and mountain biking, to rock climbing and kayaking. In addition to the more tangible relationship that I grew to have with Southwest Virginia, I always enjoyed teaching others about such a vibrant, rich, and exciting natural platform on which an amazing community exists. All of this led to my education at Emory & Henry College, where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physical geography and a master’s degree in education. I currently teach natural science courses at a high school in Southwest Virginia. In addition to my teaching experience, I have worked at Virginia Tech conducting research on drinking water quality and groundwater pollution; as an intern with The Nature Conservancy, working on forestry conservation; and as a carpenter on home builds and renovations.
My love for teaching and explaining things, my attention to detail, experience with the natural landscape, building, and community involvement have directed me to work with Highlands Realty. As someone who is community oriented, striving to provide the best experience with utmost care and honesty, Highlands Realty is the best fit for me.
Striving to be accessible & approachable.
My goal as a real estate agent is to make things as simple for you as I can by using my skills at negotiating, the use of ever-advancing technology, and my deep understanding of this community. Most importantly, I offer exceptional due diligence, care, kindness, and honesty. That being said, I am a very accessible agent, who works to answer your questions promptly. Approachability and responsiveness are two quality traits I take very seriously and will work very hard to get the deal done!
