Bear Lloyd is your hometown agent that believes serving the client takes top priority. During the school day, Bear can be found working as the marketing education teacher at Abingdon High School where he loves teaching his students about the essence of business and customer service. Watching his students grow and serving as a role model to them is one of his greatest joys. Bear also resides on his family’s third generation farm just outside of town where he actively raises beef cattle, hay, and sheep. This love of the land is what helped to spark his interest in real estate.
Bear previously worked as a congressional staffer for the U.S. House of Representatives serving the citizens of Virginia’s ninth congressional district. He earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Liberty University and a master’s degree in Education from Emory & Henry College. He holds numerous business and industry certifications and has completed MBA coursework from Radford University. In addition to his work as a realtor and educator, Bear also strives to be a leader in the agricultural industry where he advocates for Virginia farmers as Vice Chair of Virginia Farm Bureau’s Young Farmers Committee.
